Denver weather: Sunny Wednesday before a chance of weekend snow, cold
Enjoy the sunny conditions on Wednesday, Denver. Weather forecasters are eyeing the possibility of weekend snow and frigid temperatures.
The National Weather Service in Boulder said to expect a high temperature of 48 degrees in Denver on Wednesday. That’s about 4 degrees warmer than the average high temperature for Jan. 21 in Denver.
However, the forecast is increasingly calling for the possibility of snow and cold temperatures to close out the week.
Meteorologist said there’s a 20% chance of snow Thursday night, 40% chance during the day Friday, 50% chance overnight Friday and a 30% chance of snow Saturday.
The snow expected to be light but will come with plummeting temperatures. The overnight low tonight is expected to reach 13 degrees. The mercury will fall to 7 degrees overnight on Thursday into Friday and will tumble to 0 degrees overnight Friday into Saturday, the weather service said.
