Adams County Courthouse all clear after bomb threat
The Adams County Courthouse reopened at noon Wednesday after authorities evacuated the building following a possible bomb threat in the morning.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said they were investigating the threat and had closed the building on social media Wednesday morning. Officials said the notification of the threat came in at 8:15 a.m.
Brighton Police Department is the lead investigative authority on the threat, officials added. The department did not immediately respond to questions about the threat’s detail when asked Wednesday afternoon.
