What: We Have a Dream! Cleo Parker Robinson Dance
The dancers of Cleo II (the 2nd company of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance) celebrate the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with an uplifting and inspiring performance featuring Dr. King’s words, reminding us of the dreams we share.

SATURDAY
What: Après at The Terminal: Patio Sessions at Union Station
Taking the ski train? End your day with an alpine afterparty at Union Station. Ski and snowboard fans can sip free cocktails for those 21+, enjoy their favorite winter tunes, an ice luge, photo ops, and giveaways like a snowboard, a camping stove and more.

What: Freedom of Expression Workshop at Foothills Mall
Closing out Black History Month, this event invites participants to explore how music, lyrics, and poetry shape identity, influence culture, and inspire change. The workshop includes guided discussions and creative exploration and offers a chance for participants to reflect on the impact of artistic expression in their own lives – including how it has shaped generations.

What: Arvada Winterfest
Cultural demonstrations and performances take over Old Town Arvada this weekend for a festival celebrating different cultures through their winter traditions. See African drum demonstrations, mariachi performances, dragon and lion dances, Brazilian samba dancing, Irish dancing, and more.

SUNDAY
What: Dairy Block Petite Parade Mardi Gras Celebration
A mini Mardi Gras celebration with festive tiny float parade, live music and more at the Dairy Block. Attendees are invited to “laissez les bons temps rouler” by building a creative, tiny parade float starting with a shoebox base. The float must be able to be pulled on wheels. Bonus points will be awarded to entries with coordinated costumes that match the floats and for creating miniature parade “throws.” (No glitter bombs please!)
