Man fatally shot in northeast Denver, police said
A man was shot and killed in northeast Denver, police said Tuesday.
According to an X post from the Denver Police Department, an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound was found in the 12400 block of East 42nd Avenue. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the homicide is under investigation and are working to develop information on the suspect. Police asked anyone with information on the shooting to call CrimeStoppers of Colorado at 720-913-7867 or submit an online tip.
Police did not identify the man killed or release information about the circumstances leading up to the shooting. The time of the shooting was also not released.
The Denver Medical Examiner will provide identification after family notification and an autopsy.
The homicide comes as police also investigate three separate stabbing cases that occurred Tuesday morning in Denver.
