Both the weather and the competition are heating up in Denver, as four more ice cream shops melt away.

The Denver Gazette’s readers narrowed the field from the Elite 8 down to the Final Four in our annual March Madness-style bracket.

A total of 1,093 ballots were cast in the Elite 8 round. Bonnie Brae Ice Cream was once again the top overall vote-getter of the week with 646 votes to defeat Right Cream, 646-353.

Liks Ice Cream gave Little Man Ice Cream a run for its money in our closest matchup of the week. Little Man Ice Cream walked away victorious with a score of 555-448.
