Deployed airman reports stolen husky and car in Aurora, pleads for help
A deployed airman reported his husky missing in Aurora since April 2.
The dog, Maverick, was in a house sitter’s care when the owner reported him stolen alongside his 2014 Subaru Forester. The car’s license plate is BMEN70, according to a Paw Boost alert.
Maverick is black and white, has a blue left eye and a right green eye, and is missing a toe on his left paw, the alert said.
He was last seen in Aurora near Union Avenue and Temple Place.
The owner will not return until the end of July or later and has not been able to contact the house sitter. The Aurora Police Department was notified.
