Denver Weather: Sunny and clear with more snow possible this weekend
Denver is expected to be warm, clear and sunny early this week before more snow returns potentially at the end of the week.
Monday is expected to be sunny and clear with light breezes between 5 to 7 mph and a high of 79 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
We had a record of 8 80-degree days in March, putting us in the lead for most 80-degree days through April 19, according to meteorologists.
We should see some windy conditions this week, with lighter breezes on Monday and Tuesday, before winds kick up on Wednesday with a fire weather watch already in place, meteorologists said.
“Critical fire weather conditions are likely by Wednesday over the plains, foothills, and high mountain valleys as southwest winds increase,” the weather service said. “Unseasonably warm and dry through Wednesday, then cooling into next weekend with a chance of showers.”

Meteorologists said wind gusts could reach up to 40-60 mph in the southeast parts of the state, trickling into the northern plains.
Sunny weather will remain until late Thursday afternoon and evening, when we will see a chance for a mix of rain and snow, according to the weather service.
