‘Harry Potter’ drone show coming to Denver’s Auraria Campus this summer
Denver is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the “Harry Potter” franchise with an hour-long drone show this July.
The “multi-sensory experience” from Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and ticketing platform Fever will feature 1,200 drones, live music and themed treats.
“DroneArt Show: Harry Potter blends cutting-edge drone technology with the iconic music from the Harry Potter films to create a spellbinding spectacle under the stars,” Fever said on its website. “As 1,200 drones move in perfect harmony above you, iconic moments from the films are revisited in a breathtaking display of light and magic.”
Promotional images show drones lining up in the shape of Hogwarts, while characters such as Dobby and the Sorting Hat make an appearance, too.
An electric violinist will perform alongside the “Harry Potter” score, “adding a dynamic layer to the drone spectacle in the sky,” DroneArt Show said.

Attendees will receive LED wristbands, which will add to the immersive experience.
Exclusive merchandise like wands and scarves will be available, and so too will “Harry Potter”-themed treats. Butterbeer, however, will only be at “select venues.”
Denver is one of 26 cities on the “DroneArt Show: Harry Potter” global tour, which begins in Los Angeles on June 13.
The show will be at the Tivoli Quad on the Auraria Campus July 10 and 11. Shows start at 9:15 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.
Ticket prices start at $55 for adults and $30 for children. They go on sale April 29. Early-birds can join the waitlist now for 15% off.

The “Harry Potter” drone show comes to town just weeks after the Broadway hit “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” ends its run June 21 at Denver’s Buell Theatre.
“Harry Potter” Night at Coors Field will take place Sept. 5. A ticket package includes a “Harry Potter”-themed Colorado Rockies Quidditch jersey and a ticket for the game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Colorado Symphony will perform the score of “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” alongside a screening of the film Jan. 8-10, 2027, at Boettcher Concert Hall.
Denver has seen multiple drone shows in recent years, notably with its “Indy Eve” event at Civic Center Park and its nightly holiday drone show in November and December.
Denver Summit FC will have a drone show at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park Saturday following its match against San Diego Wave FC.
