Colorado river tubing company in the running for best in U.S.
River tubing offers an exciting adventure of floating with the current, enjoying scenic stretches of the river, and even enjoying some more turbulent water.
Voting is open for USA Today 10Best’s award for best river tubing company, and one Colorado company was nominated.
USA Today 10Best is a readers’ choice awards program that highlights the best in everything from destinations and food and drink, and hotels and things to do. An expert panels picks their top choices for each category and readers vote to determine the winners.
Adventure West in Golden, Colorado was nominated. According to USA Today, the company offers white water tubing and packrafting trips along Clear Creek in Golden, and tubing excursions on the calmer parts of the South Platte River near Littleton. Rentals include tubes or packrafts, safety gear, and shuttle transportation between launch and take-out points. Adventure West is currently in fifth place.
Readers can vote once per day until voting closes on Monday, May 25 at noon. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 3.
