ARAPAHOE COUNTY — Firefighters responded to a garage fire that extended to a home Tuesday night in Arapahoe County.

South Metro Fire Rescue first posted about the fire at about 10:26 p.m. Tuesday on the social platform X. Three vehicles were involved in the garage fire, according to South Metro Fire.

Everyone who was inside the home at the time of the fire was able to get out safely, South Metro Fire said. One person was evaluated at the scene by fire medics, according to South Metro Fire. All four people who evacuated the home have been displaced, South Metro Fire said.

One of the three vehicles involved in the fire was a hybrid, according to South Metro Fire. That vehicle was removed from the garage as a precaution.
