Man taken into custody after allegedly stabbing his parents, Arvada Police say
The victims went to the hospital and are expected to recover from their injuries, police said.
ARVADA, Colo. — Officers have arrested a man after he allegedly stabbed his parents just after noon Saturday, Arvada Police said.
Officers responded to the stabbing in the 8500 block of Union Circle, the department said in a post on X. The victims were taken to a hospital and are expected to recover from their injuries, the department said.
With help from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, police located the adult son near Highway 128, west of McCaslin Boulevard and took him into custody around 2:35 p.m. Saturday, police said.
There is no community safety concern at this time, according to the department.
