Arizona Powerhouse Personal Injury Law Firm Rafi Law Group Expands to Denver

When Brandon B. Rafi founded Rafi Law Group in 2015, the vision extended beyond courtroom victories and legal settlements. The firm was built on the belief that legal advocacy and community responsibility should go hand in hand and that a successful law practice should also leave a meaningful impact on the communities it serves.

Now, more than a decade later, that philosophy is crossing state lines.

Rafi Law Group recently announced the opening of its first office outside Arizona, establishing a new location in Denver at 1380 South Santa Fe Drive. The move marks a significant milestone for one of Arizona’s fastest-growing personal injury firms and signals the beginning of a broader national expansion strategy.

For the firm’s founder, Denver represented more than simply a promising business market.

“Opening our first office outside Arizona is an exciting milestone for our firm,” said Brandon B. Rafi, founder of Rafi Law Group. “Denver is a dynamic and growing community, and we’re proud to bring the same client-first approach, dedication to results and commitment to accessible legal representation that has defined our work in Arizona.”

The Denver office, overseen by Managing Attorney Afshin Afsharimehr, will offer the same legal services that helped establish the firm’s reputation in Arizona, representing clients in personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents and other negligence-related claims.

“Our goal is always to ensure every client receives not only strong legal representation, but also the compassion and support they deserve during some of the most difficult times in their lives,” said Afsharimehr.

That focus on service has become a defining characteristic of the organization.

But Rafi will say the expansion is equally about relationships, culture and community investment.

In Arizona, Rafi Law Group has built a reputation not only as a prominent personal injury practice, but also as a company deeply involved in charitable giving and volunteerism. Through its charitable initiative, Rafi’s Hope, the firm has donated more than $1 million to local nonprofits since 2022 while coordinating more than 1,750 volunteer hours annually.

As part of its entrance into the Colorado market, the firm announced a $10,000 donation to Food Bank of the Rockies, one of the region’s largest hunger-relief organizations.

For Rich Yado, director of Rafi’s Hope, the donation reflects the company’s belief that expansion should immediately include local engagement.

“Giving back to the communities we serve is deeply embedded in the firm’s identity,” Yado said. “We are pleased to extend this philosophy to Denver and to support such a worthwhile organization as the Food Bank of the Rockies.”

The philosophy behind Rafi’s Hope has become a cornerstone of the company culture. Employees regularly participate in volunteer projects, nonprofit partnerships and community events. Rather than treating philanthropy as a separate corporate initiative, community involvement is integrated into everyday operations and employee expectations.

Beyond growth, the Denver expansion also reflects a broader commitment to increasing access to legal services for individuals who may feel overwhelmed after an accident or injury. Personal injury cases often come during some of the most stressful moments in a person’s life, and firm leaders say part of their mission is ensuring people have access to experienced legal representation regardless of the complexity of their case or their financial situation. By establishing a physical presence in Denver, Rafi Law Group hopes to make legal guidance more accessible and approachable for Colorado residents navigating difficult circumstances.

Since its founding, the firm has experienced rapid growth, expanding to a team of 26 attorneys. Much of that growth has been fueled by word-of-mouth referrals, high-profile marketing campaigns (surely you’ve seen the billboards) and an emphasis on client accessibility and responsiveness.

Industry observers say Denver makes strategic sense for the firm’s next chapter. Colorado’s sustained population growth, expanding metro area and increasingly busy transportation corridors have contributed to rising demand for legal services, particularly in personal injury law.

The Denver office also reflects a broader trend within the legal industry, where successful regional firms are increasingly looking beyond their home states for growth opportunities. Yet unlike some firms that expand primarily through acquisitions or mergers, Rafi Law Group’s Denver office was launched as a direct extension of its existing culture and leadership.

The firm was represented in the Denver expansion by Brandon Paxton of Denver-based BRD Commercial Group.

For Denver residents unfamiliar with the firm, Rafi Law Group arrives with a recognizable brand presence. In Arizona, the company has become known for prominent advertising campaigns and community visibility, but leaders say the real focus remains helping clients navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

The firm emphasizes compassionate representation and accessibility, particularly for clients dealing with the aftermath of serious accidents and injuries. Their mission has always been to make finding reliable, compassionate and knowledgeable legal counsel as stress-free as possible.

That mission may prove particularly meaningful in Denver, where continued population growth has brought increasing traffic congestion and infrastructure pressures to the metro area. According to state transportation data, Colorado has seen rising traffic volumes and accident rates in recent years, creating growing demand for legal and medical support services tied to injury cases.

As Denver continues to grow, Rafi says the need for trusted, accessible legal advocacy grows alongside it. Rafi Law Group hopes its expansion will help meet that demand while also contributing positively to the broader community through service, philanthropy and local partnerships.

Still, Rafi hopes Rafi Law Group becomes known for more than legal representation alone.

The firm plans to continue building partnerships with local nonprofits, charities and community organizations as it establishes roots in Colorado. Rafi wants the Denver office to become an active participant in the city’s civic and philanthropic landscape rather than simply another business operating in the market.

That long-term mindset reflects the same principles that helped shape the company in Arizona.

Founded on the idea that legal success and community impact should coexist, Rafi Law Group has attempted to position itself as both a business and a civic partner. The expansion into Denver represents an opportunity to replicate that model in a new city while adapting to the unique needs and character of the local community.

For Brandon B. Rafi, entering Denver is not simply about opening another office — it is about becoming part of a growing and evolving city.

And for a firm whose identity has become closely tied to service, the move signals an intention to invest in Colorado for the long term.

“We’re looking forward to becoming part of the Denver community,” Rafi said. “This is just the beginning.”
