Warm and sunny start to the week, before temperatures heat up in Denver

Another sunny, warm Day in the Mile High City, but not too hot to get outside for some activity.

The National Weather Service in Boulder said temperatures are expected to hit a high of 80 degrees on Monday, with sunny skies. That’s about 3 degrees cooler than the average high for June 15 in Denver, according to weather service archive data. The record high is 101, last set in 2021.

Meteorologists said to expect light, northeast winds between 5-9 mph with gusts expected to reach up to 15 mph.

Temperatures are expected to cool off on Monday night with a low of around 52.

The heat will return on Tuesday with highs expected to climb into the high 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday, so enjoy this break from the heat while it lasts.
