Denver weather: Slightly cooler temperatures amid a calm day
Thursday will be a good old-fashioned, run-of-the-mill day of weather in Denver.
The National Weather Service said to expect a high of around 88 degrees with clear skies and calm winds.
Thursday is the next in an increasingly long string of hot days in Colorado. As summer officially begins on Sunday, residents can expect warm temperatures to permeate.
More fire danger is being predicted as the week goes on as a result of the dry conditions and heat. Thursday, however, is only receiving elevated fire conditions in the mountains.
As we get closer to the weekend, forecasters are starting to expect significant precipitation over the weekend, particularly in the eastern plains.
Tonight, expect a high of around 58 degrees, with the wind becoming a bit more breezy as the night goes on.
