6 kittens available for adoption after Aurora house fire
AURORA, Colo. — Six kittens are safe and will be available for adoption after a house fire in Aurora.
Aurora Fire Rescue said it responded to residential structure fire near North Dayton Street and East 16th Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Saturday night.
After crews got the fire under control, Aurora Fire Rescue determined it was a kitchen fire. The cause remains under investigation. One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Six kittens were found and are safe. Aurora Fire Rescue said the kitten’s names are Mason, Dixie, Alfie, Alex, Felicia, and Suki. Anyone interested in adopting one of the kittens can find them at Demi’s Animal Rescue.
