Aspen Snowmass to Sell $6.50 Lift Tickets

Head to Aspen Snowmass on December 15 to celebrate this Colorado ski resort’s 50th Anniversary. To help get the party started, they’ll be offering lift tickets for that day only at the very low price of $6.50. To put that in perspective, the typical lift ticket price at Aspen Snowmass is $155 for adults.

Why $6.50? That’s what the price of a lift ticket was when the resort opened in 1967. And the cheap lift tickets won’t be the only thing going on. The deal is part of an entire weekend of celebration, including a retro party and fireworks.

According to 303 Magazine, you’re not able to purchase the tickets quite yet, though they will be available day of at the Snowmass ticket office and possibly for advance purchase. To stay updated and discover more about the weekend activities, follow along on the official Aspen site.
