Los Angeles man indicted for attempting to pimp Colorado women

A Colorado grand jury indicted a 36-year-old man on seven charges related to organized crime throughout the state in 2023.

Andrew Dominguez was recently indicted on one count of violation of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act (COCCA), two counts of attempted pimping, two counts of criminal impersonation, one count of extortion and one count of tampering with a victim or witness, according to a Monday news release from the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

Dominguez was arrested in Los Angeles by multiple law enforcement agencies with the help of Denver District Attorney investigators.

According to the indictment, Dominguez contacted “hundreds” of women and underage girls online in Colorado, starting in 2023, to attempt to recruit them to take part in his sex trafficking ring, according to the release.

The district attorney’s office said some victims may still have not spoken out. Prosecutors are asking any additional Colorado victims to contact investigator Joe DeAngelo in the Denver District Attorney’s Human Trafficking Unit at (720) 913-9108.
