Westbound I-70 reopens after being closed in Clear Creek County

The Westbound lane on Interstate 70 (I-70) has been reopened after a crash involving a semi truck closed it on Saturday morning.

According to an X post from the Clear Creek Sheriff’s Office, a single vehicle crash occurred on I-70 West near mile marker 228 in the area of Walcott.

Traffic was being detoured off Exit 228 and back onto I-70 West.

COTrip.org reported that lanes were reopened by 1 p.m.
