Suspect arrested following shooting at Holiday Inn Express in Littleton
A suspect was arrested Friday night following a shooting at a hotel in Littleton, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 9:45 p.m. sheriff’s deputies evacuated the Holiday Inn Express & Suites on the 12860 block of West Indore Place near C470 and West Ken Caryl Avenue after a report of multiple shots fired.
They didn’t find a gunshot victim but the sheriff’s office said several shots had been fired inside one of the rooms.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said some of the people in the hotel evacuated, while others sought shelter in their rooms until the suspect was taken into custody less than 45 minutes after the initial call.
The sheriff’s office said no one was shot, but there was a physical fight between the suspect and a female victim.
Everyone who was evacuated has been allowed to return to their rooms.
