3 injured in Denver stabbing, police say
Three people -- two adults and a person under 18 -- were taken to the hospital with stab wounds, police said.
Officers are working to develop suspect information after three people were injured in a stabbing at a shelter in north Denver Tuesday evening, the Denver Police Department said.
Around 6:30 p.m., police were called to a disturbance at a hotel that provides temporary housing for people experiencing homelessness at 4685 North Quebec Street. Three people — one adult and two teen juveniles — were taken to the hospital with stab wounds, police said. The adult male is in critical condition, but all three are expected to survive their injuries.
Police said that the incident stemmed from a “disturbance involving several individuals” and that all the people included have been accounted for. They are continuing investigations and have yet to make any arrests.
The Salvation Army, which provides case management services and dinner for people staying at the hotel, said the stabbing happened inside the building. They said all three people involved were guests of the shelter.
