3 men wounded in separate early-morning shootings in Aurora

The Aurora Police Department is investigating after three men were shot in the city on Sunday morning in separate incidents.

The first shooting happened about 1:15 a.m. near Interstate 225 and East Iliff Avenue. Police said a man was found suffering from a gunshot to the leg.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. Police have not released any information about what led to the shooting.

No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting. No suspect information is available.

The second shooting happened at an unknown time at East 19th Avenue and Dallas Street, near Montview Park. Police said a man showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound about 2 a.m.

Besides the location of the shooting, the victim has not told police what happened or provided any suspect information. No arrests have been made and the victim’s condition is unknown.

The final shooting happened about 8 a.m. in the in 2100 block of South Mobile Way, next to Horseshoe Park.

Police said they were called to the area on reports of a family disturbance. When officers arrived, they discovered one of the involved men had been shot.

The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. His condition is unknown, police said.

The shooting suspect remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. Police have not said what the relationship is between the suspect and victim. No arrests or charges have been announced.

The investigations into all three of the shootings are ongoing.
