LOUISVILLE — A Boulder institution that closed down last month will reopen in a new location.

The World Famous Dark Horse announced in a Facebook post on Wednesday that it will reopen in a building near U.S. Highway 36 and McCaslin Boulevard in Louisville.

It’s not clear when that will happen, but the post says the new place will have “the same name, the same charm and hopefully a lot of the same staff.”

Many of the knick-knacks from the Boulder location were auctioned off after it closed, the post says, but the team held onto items that will “reappear” at the Louisville location.

“And yes, the bathroom doors are coming with us,” the post says.
