Denver weather: A mostly cloudy day with more chances of rain
The rain continues to linger for Denver and much of Colorado on Thursday.
The National Weather Service said to expect a high of around 76 today with a 30% chance for evening showers. Forecasters predict a moderately windy day with gusts up to 18 mph.
The weather service expects most of the rain to hit the eastern Colorado plains and the I-25 corridor. Some hail could even be possible.
Thursday marks the second day in a long streak of potential rainy days in Denver. Forecasters still predict that the greatest threat for storms is Friday through Saturday, potentially affecting some weekend events.
In an early look at next week, the weather service gives chances of rain to nearly every day, signifying that the seasons have turned and summer is soon upon us.
Tonight, expect a low of around 54 degrees and for the rain to subside by 9 p.m.
