Aurora man shot dead in alley after argument Sunday morning
A man was fatally shot in an alley during an argument involving a group of people in Aurora early Sunday morning, the police said.
Officers arrived at an alley between the 1400 blocks of Dallas and Clinton streets around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, where they found the 25-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department.
The man was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said.
Investigators believe that a group of people were outside in the alley before the shooting when an argument broke out, according to authorities. The suspect ran from the scene after the shooting.
The police currently do not know what the circumstances were leading up to the shooting or the relationships between those involved, authorities said in the release.
