Colorado basketball adds Sydney’s Goc Malual to 2026-27 roster | Colorado Sunshine
Where good news shines
The Colorado basketball program added Goc Malual to its roster Thursday.
A 6-foot-8 forward and native of Sydney, Australia, Malual played nine games last season with the Sydney Kings of Australia’s National Basketball League. As a member of the Sydney Comets in 2025, he averaged 10.6 points and 7.6 rebounds.
“What stood out to me is his motor,” CU coach Tad Boyle said. “He plays extremely hard and he’s tough and rugged. He can really help our frontcourt in terms of rebounding and defense and can score the ball a little as well.”
Malual also averaged 13.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks to lift Australia to a title in the U17 Oceania Championship.
