Denver Summit FC over 50,000 tickets sold for first home match, team says | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

Denver Summit FC is on pace to break the National Women’s Soccer League single-game attendance record, the new franchise said Wednesday.

Over 50,000 tickets have been sold for “The Kickoff,” the team’s first home match, on March 28 at Empower Field at Mile High. The match starts at Noon.

The NWLS attendance record is 40,091, a mark that was set by Bay FC in San Francisco on Aug. 23, 2025.

“Surpassing 50,000 tickets sold for our first-ever home match is an incredible testament to the passion of this fan base,” Denver Summit FC coach Nick Cushing said. “We can’t wait to step out on the pitch at Empower Field and make history alongside our community.”

Tickets are still available at DenverSummitFC.com.

Summit FC opens its inaugural season at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Bay FC.
