Today begins a stretch of favorable weather as we barrel towards Memorial Day. As high pressure builds, temperatures continue to climb. Forecasters expect Denver to be nearing the 90s by Monday.

The National Weather Service in Boulder says there could be light, isolated rain showers near the foothills this afternoon, but to expect otherwise dry conditions.

Tonight, expect a low of around 45 with winds remaining fairly moderate.
