Denver weather: A hot, calm day as temperatures reach the 90s

Summer is right around the corner, and it’s starting to feel like it.

The National Weather Service said to expect a high of around 90 degrees with very light winds and mostly sunny skies in Denver on Thursday.

It’s the first day this week that forecasters have given the area no chance for rain. Due to the ongoing precipitation, however, there is no fire danger warning in effect.

Today marks the first in a string of days in the 90s. In fact, forecasters expect the Denver area to stay in the 90s for at least the next four days as summer continues to creep up.

Tonight, expect a low of around 57 with a slight increase in wind.
