Denver weather: Hot and dry with elevated fire conditions possible
With the first day of summer less than a week away, Denver’s weather appears to be jumping the gun.
The National Weather Service said to expect a high of around 91 on Tuesday with some potential for gusty winds.
The high temperatures and lack of humidity make for ideal fire conditions. The weather service is warning of potential fire danger as the wind picks up.
Forecasters give the Denver area zero chance for any sort of precipitation.
As we reach the latter half of June, the temperature should continue to sit around 90 degrees the rest of the week. No precipitation is expected until Saturday evening.
Tonight, expect a low of around 63 degrees with winds continuing to blow up to 18 miles per hour.
