Suspect accused of stealing trailer on Christmas in Weld County
A woman is accused of stealing a camping trailer on Christmas, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office said.
Authorities say a heavy-set Hispanic woman with long dark brown or black hair entered the Mountain View RV and Boat Storage in Brighton off County Road 4 shortly before noon.
The woman was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt or black coat with blue jeans and long brown boots at the time.
The sheriff’s office said the woman is in her 20s or early 30s.
The woman is alleged to have attached a white 2020 truck similar to a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD to the trailer and drove off.
Deputies later recovered the stolen trailer, but the suspect remains at-large.
