Denver Animal Shelter launches silent auction fundraiser
The Denver Animal Shelter launched its “Howliday Market and Silent Auction” on Thursday morning, selling pet-themed holiday gifts as a fundraiser for the shelter.
Gifts to be bought immediately or via auction include pet and owner gift baskets, Broncos memorabilia, spa gift certificates, hotel stays, pet photo sessions and classes like yoga with cats.
The money from the market and auction go toward funding DAS and Denver Animal Protection’s care of more than 12,000 animals.
The funds will help to provide veterinary care, spay and neuter services, emergency medical care, behavioral support, food, bedding, community outreach, humane education and foster care.
The market and auction close on Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. Both are available at aesbid.org/HOWLIDAY20.
