RTD seeking comment on more than 40 proposed bus and rail routes, schedule changes

Virtual and in-person meetings being held through June 25

The Regional Transportation District is seeking public feedback on its proposal to make more than 40 changes to bus and rail routes and schedules that will take effect September 15, 2024, as part of its three-times-yearly service change schedule.

The changes are made to adjust operations to better serve the public and compensate for necessary maintenance, according to RTD.

“Customer feedback is an important step to ensure RTD’s services are responsive to community needs. The proposed changes are formulated to enhance reliability, improve on-time performance, address seasonal school adjustments and accommodate maintenance projects,” according to a news release from the district.

Customers can view the proposed changes at RTD’s website rtd-denver.com.

An online public Teams meeting begins at noon Tuesday, and an in-person meeting at the La Alma Recreation Center at 1325 W. 11th Ave. in Denver will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Four additional meetings will be held through June 25:

  • In person public meeting 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at 5:30 p.m., RTD Headquarters, 1660 Blake St, Denver.
  • In-person public meeting 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22 at 1 p.m., Carla Madison Recreation Center, 2401 E. Colfax Ave., Denver.
