Denver weather: Bitter temperatures with Arctic front coming for weekend
Chances of flurries with bitter cold temperatures are forecast in Denver on Tuesday before 11 a.m., the National Weather Service in Boulder said.
The rest of Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny with a high of 33 degrees with winds around 6 mph, according to the weather service.
Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to a low of 16 degrees with mostly cloudy skies and light and variable winds, the agency said.
Chances of snow appear Thursday night and stick around into the weekend, the weather service predicts.
“Cool to start the week but a blast of Arctic cold will drop temps into the teens and 20s by the end of the week,” Denver Gazette news partner 9News reported. “Light snow is possible Thursday through the weekend.”
