Here’s when Colorado’s ski areas are set to close for the 2025-2026 season
There’s no avoiding the reality that it’s been a disappointing season in terms of snowfall for the state’s winter slopesports enthusiasts. With statewide snowpack currently at 38 percent of the norm for the date and melting fast, many ski areas have announced early closing dates – and some have already closed.
Without further ado, here’s a look at when the state’s ski areas are set to close for the 2025-2026 season:

- Echo Mountain: TBD, tickets currently sold online through March 29
- Copper Mountain: TBD, tickets currently sold online through April 26
- Loveland Ski Area: TBD, late-season pricing starts on April 6 with tickets being sold online through April 26
- Winter Park: TBD, currently selling lift tickets online through May 10
- Breckenridge: TBD, currently selling lift tickets online through May 17
- Arapahoe Basin: TBD, currently selling lift tickets online through June 7
