Suspect accused of groping buttocks of woman, exposing self on Denver metro trail
The Lakewood Police Department has asked the public for help in identifying a man suspected of groping a woman and exposing himself on a local greenbelt trail.
According to a press release, the alleged incident took place around 2:15 p.m. on March 29 involving a man on a bicycle groping the buttocks of a passing female victim on the Bear Creek Greenbelt trail. It was reported that the man had followed the woman from the Stone House grounds to the Bear Creek K-8 school via the trail.
After the groping allegedly took place, the man reportedly fled down the trail eastbound and is then alleged to have exposed himself to two other victims in the area of the trail where it crosses Wadsworth into Denver.
The man was described as Hispanic with a medium build and black hair. At the time of the alleged incidents, he was wearing a hat, dark jeans, and a white sweatshirt with a large design on it that appears to be that of a dragon.
Anyone with information has been asked to contact the Lakewood Police Department by emailing [email protected]. The case number is LK26-008543.
All suspects are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. All crimes mentioned are alleged.
