Black bear relocated out of prominent Colorado city
Another bear was relocated out of Colorado Springs on Thursday when it was found wondering around the city.
According to a post from Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), a 125-pound male yearling black bear was found wondering the Barnes and Austin Bluffs area of Colorado Springs on Thursday.
Wildlife officers immobilized the bear and moved it into a wildlife trailer. The bear was then given a “wake up” drug and released several hours south into “better bear habitat.”
