Colorado is in for another hot summer week, with mostly dry mornings and possible thunderstorms rolling in during the afternoons, particularly along the Front Range and in the mountains. Smoke from the current wildfires could cause hazy skies and poor air quality as well.

Monday: Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine, with more clouds appearing in the afternoon.

  • Grand Junction High/Low: 99/70

Tuesday: Expect more intervals of clouds and sunshine, with afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the mountains.

  • Grand Junction High/Low: 98/68

Wednesday: Mostly sunny skies continue, with more scattered afternoon thunderstorms in the mountains.

  • Denver High/Low: 92/64

  • Grand Junction High/Low: 98/69

Thursday: Skies turn partly cloudy, with afternoon thunderstorms developing in the afternoon in the mountains and Front Range.

Friday: Mostly sunny skies return, with some clouds lingering in the mountains.

Saturday: Expect sunny skies.
