Presumed human remains found in area of scenic Skyline Drive in Colorado
According to a report from KRDO, Fremont County’s Skyline Drive was temporarily closed on the night of July 19 when hikers discovered what appeared to be human remains in the area.
Few details have been released related to the situation. It does appear, however, that the route that’s often driven as a scenic drive has reopened.
Skyline Drive is a short, but intense one-way scenic drive that’s paved, delivering big views of Cañon City alongside a drop-off. It’s about 2.8 miles long.
