Sanders was released from UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central on Thursday, Dec. 8th just shy of three weeks since the attack. Sanders was shot twice while standing at the bar when the gunman opened fire on the LGBTQ+ friendly club, killing five and injuring many more. (Video Courtesy UCHealth).

Ed Sanders was shot twice during the deadly Club Q attack, after which he was taken to UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central. Sanders said after the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting, he imagined it could happen at Club Q, where he was a regular patron since its opening in 2002.
