Oil Springs Fire near Rangely explodes to 5,000 acres
The Oil Springs Fire which started Friday grew, by thousands of acres overnight despite firefighting efforts, the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office said. As of 2 a.m. Monday, the fire had burned 5,000 acres — up from only 500 acres Sunday afternoon and 20 acres Saturday morning. The fire is at 0% containment, deputies said.…
