On Friday, Monarch Pass was closed as crews searched the area. On Friday, a possible personal item of Morphew’s was found, according to FOX 21. The specific part of the pass that was closed was west of Morphew’s home in Maysville, which is located between Monarch Mountain ski area and Salida on highway 50.
A reward of $200,000 is being offered in the case for the woman’s ‘safe return.’ Contact the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office if you have any details regarding Morphew’s possible whereabouts.
