Crime Watch: 4 injured in 3 shootings overnight in metro Denver
Three different shootings occurred overnight on Tuesday, injuring four people, authorities said.
The first incident began around 9 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of East 7th Avenue near the Alamo Placita neighborhood, according to a social media post by the Denver Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers found two people suffering from injuries. They were transported to a nearby hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.
The second incident occurred in Aurora in the 18000 block of East Kentucky Avenue around 10 p.m. A man was found with a gunshot wound and transported to the nearest hospital, according to a social media post by the Aurora Police Department.
His injuries are considered life-threatening, according to the department.
The third incident occurred in Denver in the 4400 block of Cook Street around 1 a.m., the department said. The status of a victim, who was transported to the hospital, was unknown.
