Suspect at-large after deadly shooting at Colorado park
At about 5 p.m., Colorado Springs police responded to a report of shots fired at High Meadow Park, which is located near Springs Ranch Elementary School in the northeast stretches of urban development of the metro area.
Two victims were discovered at the scene, one with life-threatening injuries. By 7:46 p.m., it was announced that one of the victims had died and that a homicide investigation was underway.
At last report, no suspect was in custody. Per a report from local news source KKTV, the shooting is not believed to be random, according to investigators.
Little information in the case has been released at this time.
