A 32-year-old registered sex offender was arrested Wednesday after deputies say he tried to trade vapes and alcohol for sexual favors with a 12-year-old girl — and investigators think there may be more victims.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said Holland Langhorn-Padilla was arrested in the 6200 block of S. Troy Circle in Centennial. He resisted arrest and assaulted an investigator, deputies said.
Langhorn-Padilla was held on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child, internet sexual exploitation of a child, internet luring of a child, possession of sexually exploitative material and habitual sex offender against children.
The arrest was the culmination of a six-month investigation by Arapahoe County’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, which said it discovered that Langhorn-Padilla was sexually exploiting children and had in his possession materials containing child sexual abuse.
He was booked into the Arapahoe County Detention Facility and is being held on $150,000 bond.

Langhorn-Padilla was previously convicted in February 2021 for sexual exploitation of a child, and 20 additional items, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s sex offender registry. He was listed as an Aurora resident in the registry.

Investigators said he was driving a 2020 black Chevy Impala with license plate EEJO88 when he tried to meet the 12-year-old girl. He’s also driven a 2014 gray Hyundai Sonata with temporary tag number 7360443 on it.
Holland Langhorn-Padilla’s tattoos on his right arm are distinct, deputies said.
Deputies are urging anyone who may have communicated with Langhorn-Padilla, been extorted or exploited by him, or has information on a case involving him to call the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at 720-874-8477.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said the case is open and active and Langhorn-Padilla is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
