Denver Pioneers women’s soccer picked third in Summit League | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

Denver women’s soccer was picked to finish third in the Summit League, while Brooke Ahern and Hannah Tate were named players to watch in the 2025 season.

The Summit League’s preseason poll was released Tuesday with North Dakota State predicted to win the conference. South Dakota State was a close second with DU third.

Ahern is a senior transfer who played the past two seasons at the University of Arizona, where she played in 20 matches with five starts. She also played at the University of Utah as a freshman.

Tate was named second-team All-Summit League last season with 16 starts and three goals. Her 38 shot attempts ranked third for the Pioneers, who open the season Thursday at Air Force and Sunday at Colorado College.
