Another beautiful day across metro Denver Friday as continued sunshine and calm conditions remain heading into the last weekend of September.

Denver folks can expect mostly sunny skies Friday, with a high near 82, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South southwest winds to blow between 5 to 7 mph become light and variable.

Tonight it’ll be partly cloudy, with a low around 52. East winds around 6 mph become light and variable overnight.

Both weekend days offer pleasant conditions with high temperatures close to 80 degrees; perfect fall weather for leaf peeping in the mountains or hanging out on a patio in the city.

A slight chance of rain Monday, otherwise, more of the same sunny and calm conditions heading into next week is forecast.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 79. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 6 to 11 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.

Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 78.
