Authorities are searching for a suspect who allegedly shot and injured three people on Wednesday evening.

The Denver Police Department responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of North Broadway around 10 p.m., according to the agency.

Two people were initially found with injuries and transported to a nearby hospital. A third was found and transported a few moments later, according to social media posts from the department.

All of the victims are expected to survive.

“Preliminary information indicates that this shooting occurred inside one of the businesses in that area. It appears there was some kind of altercation prior to the shooting,” the department told The Denver Gazette on Friday.

No suspect has been arrested yet.

There are nightclubs in the surrounding area — including Temple and The Church — but the department did not specify if the incident occurred within a nightclub. The Hive, a nightclub once located at 1109 Lincoln St., shut down in 2012 after a fatal shooting took place outside its doors.

Multiple people on Denver’s Reddit forum claimed that the shooting occurred within or near Temple Denver during the club’s 12th Annual All Black Attire Party.

“Everyone got kicked out of that club and the area is a mess,” one Reddit user, TW_Halsey, said.

The Denver Gazette reached out to Temple but did not hear back.
