Snowstang adds direct buses for Copper MountainWorld Cup races

Copper Mountain hosts America’s first Alpine World Cup weekend in four years right after Thanksgiving. The Colorado Department of Transportation just rolled out express Snowstang buses so fans can skip the Interstate 70 traffic jam.

Service runs Friday through Sunday. One bus leaves Denver on Friday. Two buses run each way Saturday and Sunday. Riders board at Denver Union Station, the Federal Center in Lakewood, or the Wooly Mammoth Park-and-Ride.

Round-trip tickets cost $25 for adults, $12.50 for ages two to eleven, and $18.76 for seniors 65 and older or riders with disabilities. Book online at ridebustang.com.

Riders can also take regular Bustang West Line or Pegasus to Frisco for $12 or $13 one way, then catch the free Summit Stage shuttle that runs every fifteen minutes to Copper Mountain.

The Copper Cup features men’s super G and giant slalom plus women’s giant slalom and slalom. All races finish in East Village with free viewing.
