Police arrest Aurora man with over 400,000 child abuse photos, videos
Police arrested an Aurora man last week on suspicion of possessing more than 400,000 photos and videos of child sexual abuse material.
Michael Lozano, 52, was arrested December 4 and faces eight felony charges of sexual exploitation of a child, according to a Wednesday news release from the Aurora Police Department.
The FBI first learned about Lozano trying to download child sexual abuse material in Aurora in 2023 and executed a search warrant on his house, according to the release. Digital devices agents seized from the home contained several terabytes of abuse images and videos. The FBI then referred the investigation to the APD.
Lozano is currently out on a $5,000 bond, according to the release.
Anyone with information about Lozano is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
