Colorado Rapids acquire forward Dante Sealy from CF Montreal | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

The Rapids are making moves.

Colorado said Tuesday it traded for forward Dante Sealy from CF Montreal. The Rapids in return sent $1.9 million plus an additional $600,000 if incentives are met. The 22-year-old Sealy enjoyed a career season in 2025 with nine goals, two assists and 30 games played with 28 starts.

He had six goals over the final nine games of the MLS regular season.

“We are excited to bring a talent like Dante into our current group,” said Pádraig Smith, the Rapids’ president. “His experience within the league and in Europe combined with a clinical eye for goal and strong athletic profile will add greatly to our attacking group.”
